Payment Options and Insurance
Payment Options
We require full payment at the end of the consultation by cash, cheque, Eftpos or credit card (Visa, Mastercard and American Express). If you would like to finance your dental expenses, we are able to facilitate this with our partners at Zip|Money and Fund My Dental. Health Care Card Holders and Pension Card Holders attract a 10% courtesy reduction on our fees. Consultations related to an Insurance Commission of Western Australia (ICWA) or Worker’s Compensation claim require the initial consultation to be settled on the day.

Private Health Insurance
Dental services attract a rebate from Private Health Insurance. We will provide you with an itemised account to claim from your Insurer as we do not have HICAPS. The extent of your cover depends on the type of policy you have selected, so we are unable to advise on the rebate that you will receive. We recommend that you contact your Private Health Insurance Fund prior to your appointment to determine your level of cover. Unlike medical services, Medicare does not provide a rebate for most dental services.
Are we a “preferred provider”?
For our private patients, we are often asked if we are a “preferred provider” for any Private Health Insurance Fund. Unfortunately, being a “preferred provider” requires contractually committing to a specific Private Health Insurance Fund and working to a fee schedule and any associated constraints determined by that Fund. We believe the fee schedule limits the time, care and services available to the patient, and may pre-determine the quality and type of materials used. At the Perth Oral Medicine and Dental Sleep Centre, we tailor your treatment and care to your needs to ensure uncompromised service.
